HIGH HOLIDAY PRAYER BOOKS AND GIFTS FOR ALL CONGREGANTS
These are unusual times for all of us, requiring different practices and procedures this year as we enter the High Holiday season. We know that sanitizing prayer books after use during the Covid-19 pandemic crisis will not be practical. As a safety precaution and as a convenience to you, we will be distributing High Holy Day prayer books to all our Legacy TOE congregants, along with a gift for the new year.
These prayer books are to be used at home by families who will be attending the High Holy Day services via streaming. Families who will be attending services in person at the Temple must bring the prayer books with them to the Temple. Please know that all books distributed will remain the property of your family and are not to be returned or left at the Temple.
Legacy CRT congregants, who already have their own prayer books are invited to visit the Temple to pick up their gift for the new year.
Prayer books and gifts will be available to be picked up at the front entrance to the Temple on the following dates and times:
Tuesday September 8, 2020 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday September 9, 2020 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Saturday September 12, 2020 12 Noon – 2:00 PM
We ask that everyone please wear a mask when coming to the Temple.
L'Shanah Tovah Tikatevu - may you be inscribed and sealed in the Book of Life for a good year!
ATTENDEES STATEMENT FOR ACCESSING THE BUILDING
To the best of my knowledge, the following information is accurate. I will also comply with all of the below to gain entry to the Temple and related buildings. This form must be completed at the time of requested entry. I DO NOT HAVE: fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, cough, nausea, vomiting, COVID(-like) symptoms. I HAVE NOT IN THE PAST 14 DAYS: traveled outside of the USA, or to states under advisement for COVID, or had contact with any confirmed/suspected COVID cases. I AGREE TO: wear a facial mask at all times while inside building, maintain social distance of 6 feet between people and sanitize hands upon entering the building and as required. I understand that this information would only be used for purposes of contact tracing, if needed.
For all in-person services each congregant must bring their own tallis, kippah and High Holy Day prayer book. These are COVID-19 safety protocols.
